Fall Training & Tournaments
GORILLA FALL TRAINING PROGRAM
September - November
ABOUT FALL TRAINING
Fall outdoor training sessions focus on individual pla yer skill improvement. Fall training runs for eight weeks beginning in September. Sessions are held weekly in both the Metro and North regions. If a player has a scheduling conflict, they are welcome to attend either day/location or a time slot that is one grade up or down.
TEAMWORK ASSIGNMENTS
Each week during Fall Training all Gorilla players receive teamwork assignments, which are expected to be completed the following week. Each assignment is specially developed to reinforce skills taught during training and to help further the overall skill level of each player. Teamwork assignments, which are emailed to each player on Monday afternoon, are progressive to allow for players of all skill levels to advance through each level. It is imperative that a player master the lower level exercises before advancing to the next stage.
UNIFORMS/HELMETS
Uniforms are not included in the cost of the club program but can be ordered at any time. Gorilla helmets are optional and can be purchased online. Since these items are ordered in bulk, there is a limited ordering window set up in late fall so that families will have them in time for the holidays.
TOURNAMENTS
Tournaments usually take place in late October/early November. Additionally, there will be an opportunity for those wanting more game play to participate in an extra tournament.
